Earlier last week, the FCT Skating Association held its Third Edition of the Children’s Skating Championship at Jabi Lake Park, Abuja, to mark the 2025 Children’s Day Celebration and it was nothing short of exhilarating!
The Global Initiative for Women in Leadership (GIFWIL) was proud to be one of the key sponsors of this colorful, high-energy event dedicated to encouraging sportsmanship, healthy living, and joyful expression among children and young people.
Leading with Heart: Dr. Sarah Umahi at the Forefront
Our Founder and Chairperson, Lady Dr. Sarah Umahi, was present at the event as one of the distinguished special guests, celebrating with the children and reinforcing GIFWIL’s commitment to youth development.
In a heartwarming moment that captured the spirit of the day, Dr. Sarah Umahi personally presented medals and certificates to the winners of the Female Skating Category, congratulating them for their courage, discipline, and passion.
